Dr. Roop Lal received his medical degree from Osmania University in Hyderabad, India and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He completed his Fellowship in Cardiology at the Mid-America Heart Institute at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. He then served as Co-director of the Arrhythmia Service at Jewish Hospital of St. Louis. He is currently the Director of the Electrophysiology Laboratory at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville.

| Dr. Lal joined Cardiology Consultants, Ltd. in 1987 and currently servies as Director of the Rhythm Care Center. He is board certified in Cardiovascular disease and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is also a Fellow of the Council on Clinical Cardiology of the American Heart Association. |
